Expanding Shop is hiring immediately a highly motivated mechanic / technician to join our team! We are looking to hire a mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and working with our Service Manager and team to provide first rate service.RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Diagnose and repair to specifications.</li><li>Brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.</li><li>Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.</li><li>Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.</li><li>Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.</li><li>Must have a minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience preferred.</li><li>A.S.E. certification plus.</li><li>Diesel experience a plus</li><li>Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.</li><li>Reading, writing, and math skills.</li></ul>BENEFITSHealth benefitsPaid vacation and holidaysCompetitive Wages Based on ExperienceFlexible Schedule During Dealership Hours5 day work weekNO WEEKENDS7:30 &ndash; 4:30 schedule Monday - Friday with OVERTIME AVAILABLESkills<ul><li>Desire to learn and grow as a mechanic</li><li>Team player in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles</li><li>Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods</li><li>Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)</li><li>Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.</li></ul>Additional Notes:Must have tools to perform necessary repairsMust have a Valid Driver&rsquo;s LicenseAbout Us: Mint Motors is a family and veteran owned business that takes pride in taking care of their customers while providing a family and team environment to work and grow in.
