Part-time position available working in a hospital located in Aurora, IL.Shift: Part-time, M-F hours (no weekends) Hours: 8a-12:30p OR 12:30p - 4:30p *Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.*Responsibilities and Duties:<ul><li>Verify the validity of medical record requests and accompanying paperwork</li><li>Respond to requests with the corresponding health information</li><li>Quality check information prior to release</li><li>Handle incoming phone calls efficiently</li><li>Check voicemail messages and return phone calls timely</li><li>Greet and assist patients or other customers professionally</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities (KSA's) required:<ul><li>Previous Medical Record or Physician Office experience - preferred, not required</li><li>High school graduate &ndash; required</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology &ndash; preferred, not required</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA - preferred, not required</li><li>Display a courteous and professional manner through interaction, appearance &amp; attitude</li><li>Demonstrate proficient data entry skills</li><li>Provide excellent customer service with: demonstrated compassion, ability to assess situations &amp; identify concerns and give timely follow up.</li><li>Handle patient information with discretion and integrity</li><li>Ability to use all components of a computer extensively, with the ability to toggle between systems efficiently.</li></ul>Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>medical record or physician office: 2 years (Required)</li><li>Release of medical record information: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>EPIC : 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
