About the Company Mobile Laundry Lab LLC is a growing pickup and delivery laundry service serving the Montgomery area. We are building a small, efficient leadership team to support future expansion and ensure strong operational foundations.Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to provide legal guidance on an as-needed basis. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not full-time employment. Hours will vary depending on the company&rsquo;s needs as we continue to grow. This position is ideal for a solo practitioner or small firm attorney looking to add a reliable business client without long-term hour commitments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide legal advice regarding contracts, policies, and business operations</li><li>Review and draft agreements when needed</li><li>Advise on compliance issues as they arise</li><li>Assist with risk management and legal strategy for a small service-based business</li><li>Represent the company as needed for minor legal matters</li><li>Communicate promptly when legal questions arise</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Licensed attorney in any U.S. state (Alabama preferred, but not required)</li><li>Experience working with small businesses or startups</li><li>Strong understanding of contracts, liability, and business law</li><li>Ability to work independently and respond in a timely manner</li><li>Comfortable working on an as-needed, project-based basis</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>1099 independent contractor</li><li>Paid per project or hourly depending on the matter</li><li>No long-term commitment required</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $32.63 - $39.30 per hourExpected hours: 20 &ndash; 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
