Contract Attorney (Independent Contractor – As Needed)

Mobile Laundry Lab LLC is a growing pickup and delivery laundry service serving the Montgomery area. We are building a small, efficient leadership team to support future expansion and ensure strong operational foundations.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to provide legal guidance on an as-needed basis. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not full-time employment. Hours will vary depending on the company’s needs as we continue to grow.
This position is ideal for a solo practitioner or small firm attorney looking to add a reliable business client without long-term hour commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice regarding contracts, policies, and business operations
• Review and draft agreements when needed
• Advise on compliance issues as they arise
• Assist with risk management and legal strategy for a small service-based business
• Represent the company as needed for minor legal matters
• Communicate promptly when legal questions arise

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in any U.S. state (Alabama preferred, but not required)
• Experience working with small businesses or startups
• Strong understanding of contracts, liability, and business law
• Ability to work independently and respond in a timely manner
• Comfortable working on an as-needed, project-based basis

Compensation

• 1099 independent contractor
• Paid per project or hourly depending on the matter
• No long-term commitment required

Pay: $32.63 - $39.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
