Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, providing exceptional patient service, and managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires proficiency in various medical software systems and a solid understanding of medical terminology and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.</li><li>Schedule appointments efficiently using EMR system.</li><li>Handle patient inquiries with excellent phone etiquette and a friendly, positive attitude.</li><li>Collect payments and manage medical collections as necessary.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Ensure the front desk area is organized and well-maintained, including filing and managing medical records.</li><li>Provide clerical support to healthcare providers as needed, including typing and sending correspondence via fax or email.</li><li>Assist with administrative tasks related to office management, including inventory management of office supplies.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems such as DrChrono is advantageous.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, health information management, and documentation review practices.</li><li>Excellent computer and phone skills.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and scheduling.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing outstanding customer service.</li><li>Join our team as a Medical Receptionist where you will contribute to providing quality care while ensuring an efficient administrative process within our facility!</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourWork Location: In person
