We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mechanic to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have 1&ndash;2 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on construction equipment. A strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and being a team player are essential to success in this role.Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):<ul><li>Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of construction equipment.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools, vehicles, generators, and forklifts.</li><li>Understand and follow all steps required to begin, carry out, and complete repair jobs efficiently.</li><li>Bring and maintain a personal set of tools for daily use.</li><li>Follow all company safety protocols, including the use of PPE at all times.</li><li>Work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li><li>Follow work orders and verbal instructions accurately.</li><li>Assist with equipment setup or teardown on job sites as needed.</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures, equipment, and technologies.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>1&ndash;2 years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical repair, preferably in a construction or heavy equipment environment.</li><li>Must bring own tools to work.</li><li>General understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.</li><li>Forklift or generator maintenance/repair experience is preferred but not required.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions, orders, and safety rules consistently.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Must be a dependable team player with a positive attitude.</li><li>Willingness to learn and grow with the team.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.</li><li>Must be dependable and punctual.</li><li>Must be able to show up to work every day</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Outdoor shop environments.</li><li>Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery, chemicals and fluids</li><li>PPE must be worn at all times.</li><li>Working Shifts Vary (changes throughout the year due to heat)</li></ul>Why You'll Love Working With Us:<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>Shared-cost health insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) and vacation after one year</li><li>A place where your voice is heard, and your efforts are appreciated</li></ul>Ready to Apply?
