Now Hiring: Mechanic

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mechanic to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on construction equipment. A strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and being a team player are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of construction equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools, vehicles, generators, and forklifts.
• Understand and follow all steps required to begin, carry out, and complete repair jobs efficiently.
• Bring and maintain a personal set of tools for daily use.
• Follow all company safety protocols, including the use of PPE at all times.
• Work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow work orders and verbal instructions accurately.
• Assist with equipment setup or teardown on job sites as needed.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures, equipment, and technologies.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical repair, preferably in a construction or heavy equipment environment.
• Must bring own tools to work.
• General understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Forklift or generator maintenance/repair experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions, orders, and safety rules consistently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be a dependable team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be able to show up to work every day

Work Environment:

• Outdoor shop environments.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery, chemicals and fluids
• PPE must be worn at all times.
• Working Shifts Vary (changes throughout the year due to heat)
