<div>Job Title: Manufacturing Facility Custodian / Janitorial
Starting Pay: $45,800 &ndash; $51,500 per year (with overtime)
Summary and Purpose:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Facility Custodian. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized machine shop environment.

This is a day-shift position.
Pay &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>
Competitive Compensation: Annual earnings typically range from $45,800&ndash;$51,500, based on an hourly rate of $18.00/hour, with overtime paid at 1.5&times; after 40 hours.</li></ul><ul><li>
$45,800/year assuming ~ 6 OT hrs/week at 1.5&times;</li><li>
$51,500/year assuming ~10 OT hrs/week at 1.5&times;</li></ul><ul><li>

Note: Figures reflect estimated annualized earnings including overtime (paid at 1.5&times; after 40 hours). Actual earnings vary based on hours worked, OT availability, shift premiums, and paid/unpaid time off.
Schedule:<ul><li>
Day Shift: 7:00am &ndash; 5:30pm, Monday through Friday</li><li>
Typical shifts range from 8&ndash;10 hours per day</li><li>
Mandatory Saturdays: Limited to no more than 14 per year</li><li>
Saturday hours: 12:00 PM &ndash; 6:00 PM</li><li>
Overtime is expected as part of the role</li></ul>

Responsibilities:
In this Custodian role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility, including the manufacturing shop and administrative offices. Duties include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Sweeping and mopping floors</li><li>
Trash and recycling removal</li><li>
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms</li><li>
Operating floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment</li><li>
Exchanging and monitoring coolant tank systems (training provided)</li><li>
Performing general shop and custodial support duties as needed</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment</li><li>
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, including trash bags, cleaning supplies, and equipment</li><li>
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods</li><li>
Fine motor skills to perform detailed cleaning tasks, including around machinery and equipment</li><li>
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels</li><li>
High school diploma or GED required</li></ul>
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The manufacturing shop is highly maintained for cleanliness, including daily disinfecting and floor scrubbing. The entire facility is air-conditioned and well-ventilated to ensure a clean, comfortable working environment.
This role requires the ability to:<ul><li>
Stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods</li><li>
Use hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and cleaning materials</li><li>
Occasionally climb, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl</li><li>
Lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds</li></ul>
Specific vision abilities&mdash;including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus&mdash;are required to safely perform job duties.
Location:
Moeller Precision Tool is centrally located within the Metro Detroit area, offering a 45-minute commute from Ann Arbor or Troy, Michigan. You'll have access to various local restaurants for lunch, easy I-96 access, and nearby apartment options.
