Job Summary Join our all female super star dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will work side by side with another assistant by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting while promoting oral health and wellness. Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-3.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient procedures.</li><li>Assist dentist during various dental treatments, including chairside assisting with procedures such as fillings, crowns, oral surgery, and implants.</li><li>Take dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment like 3D scanners, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.</li><li>Manage patient records accurately within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system such as Dentrix, including updating medical documentation and coding.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort levels to ensure safety throughout procedures, adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and answer questions about procedures or dental terminology in a clear manner.</li><li>Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, giving post op instructions, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li></ul>QualificationsX ray certificationJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Uniform allowance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
