This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service, sales, and cash handling within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.Duties<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.</li><li>Operate POS systems such as TOAST POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.</li><li>Assist in restocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and organizing the caf&eacute; area for optimal efficiency.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.</li><li>Experience using POS systems is preferred .</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and caf&eacute; operations are essential.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation techniques, and serving standards is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with food industry regulations related to food handling and sanitation will support your success in this role.
