Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate POS systems such as TOAST POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Assist in restocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and organizing the café area for optimal efficiency.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Experience using POS systems is preferred .
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations are essential.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation techniques, and serving standards is a plus.
• Familiarity with food industry regulations related to food handling and sanitation will support your success in this role. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
