In reality, it's hundreds of coordinated decisions that determine how a home actually gets built.As our projects continue to grow, we're looking for a Selections Manager | Design Associate to support the behind-the-scenes work that keeps projects organized, documented, and moving forward.Molly by Design is a residential design studio specializing in custom homes, renovations, and builder partnerships. Our work sits at the intersection of design, construction, and project coordination.This role begins with selections management, documentation, and project coordination. Over time, there is an opportunity to grow into deeper involvement with design decisions, space planning, drafting support, and increased project responsibility.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING<ul><li>Organizing and documenting client selections</li><li>Maintaining project tracking systems (Google Docs and Sheets)</li><li>Communicating with clients to gather and confirm selections</li><li>Cross-referencing selections across trades and vendors</li><li>Identifying missing information and tracking follow-ups</li><li>Coordinating with builders, vendors, and clients as needed</li><li>Supporting preparation of documentation for client and builder meetings</li><li>Assisting with drawing updates in Chief Architect, with guidance provided during onboarding</li></ul>WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENTThis role offers a unique opportunity to learn how custom homes are designed, documented, and built.You'll gain exposure to the decisions that impact construction, budgets, schedules, and client experience, not just finishes and aesthetics.For someone who enjoys learning and taking initiative, there is meaningful opportunity to grow within the company as responsibilities, skills, and experience develop.WE MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU<ul><li>Notice details others miss</li><li>Enjoy organizing complex information</li><li>Take ownership of tasks and follow through without constant reminders</li><li>Communicate clearly and professionally</li><li>Enjoy learning new systems and processes</li><li>Are curious about residential construction and design</li><li>Like figuring things out and continuously improving</li></ul>HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED<ul><li>Familiarity with Chief Architect or other drafting software</li><li>Familiarity with Google Workspace</li><li>Background or interest in interior design, architecture, construction, or project coordination</li></ul>ESPECIALLY IMPORTANTWe're looking for someone who is excited to continue learning and growing.Chief Architect experience is a plus, but a genuine interest in developing proficiency over time is highly valued.
