Join us and be part of a vibrant workplace where your organizational skills and positive attitude make a real difference!Shift: 8:00am to 1:00pm, Monday-FridayResponsibilities<ul><li>Greet clients during drop-off</li><li>Schedule meetings and maintain school calendar of events and closures</li><li>Order classroom and office supplies</li><li>Maintaining inventory of all classroom materials</li><li>Bookkeeping</li><li>Invoicing/Paying contractors</li><li>Perform monthly audit of all tuition accounts</li><li>Track monthly expenses in Quickbooks</li><li>Track monthly tuition payments in Quickbooks</li><li>Track contractor expenses</li><li>Update client records accurately and efficiently to include new address, employment, vaccination records.</li><li>Support office management by organizing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.</li><li>Provide customer support by responding to enrollment inquiries promptly and professionally via phone or email.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Quickbooks.</li><li>Proficiency in ADP or other payroll software</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li>Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry and document proofreading.</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred.</li><li>Ability to adapt to evolving priorities.</li><li>Demonstrated office experience or clerical background with strong administrative skills.</li><li>Willingness to take directives, work closely with owner and other teammates.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with office management tasks such as filing, calendar management, and personal assistant duties.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.</li><li>5 years successful​ administrative support experience as an Office Manager/Administrator preferably in a school or corporate office setting.</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.</li><li>Must be willing to pass a criminal and sex offender registry background check.</li><li>Exceptional writing skills and command of English.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Alexandria, VA 22301

Overview We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and bilingual Full-Time Preschool Teacher Floater (ECT Qualified) to join our vibrant educational team.In this role, you will provide essential support across various classrooms, ensuring a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners. Your expertise in early childhood education will help foster a love for learning while promoting the development of essential skills in children.About our school: Monarch Montessori of Denver is an ECE program on the same campus as a DPS charter school serving Kindergarten through 5th grade in Far Northeast Denver. Our school provides a high-quality Montessori learning environment for students and supportive work atmosphere. On the same campus is a Montessori early childhood program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Monarch has a large outdoor learning environment, greenhouses, peace path and chickens!Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of preschool students.</li><li>Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.</li><li>Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.</li><li>Facilitate literacy education through interactive reading sessions and storytelling activities.</li><li>Collaborate with educators to assess children's progress and adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.</li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in early childhood education.</li><li>This position includes a $3,000 closing stipend for working 9 am - 6pm Monday through Friday, or $1,000 closing stipend for working 8:30-5:30 Monay through Friday as recognition for your commitment to our closing shift schedule.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Bilingual/Multilingual preferred not required</li><li>Experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in preschool or daycare environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>Knowledge of Montessori methods or private school educational practices is a plus.</li><li>Ability to manage classroom dynamics while fostering a supportive atmosphere for all students.</li><li>Commitment to promoting literacy education through engaging activities that spark children's interest in reading and learning.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.91 - $27.40 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
