 Food Service Department
 
 
 
 
 TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
 
 July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026. Various Hours, Monday-Friday. For all BOCES Programs Pre and Post summer trainings and set-up as directed.
 
 
 
 Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings

 O'Connor Academy, eStart, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)

 = Creekside (BUP Unit), Bird/Morgan
 
 
 
 SALARY RANGE:
 
 $16.00 per hour (or higher pending contract negotiations) or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff
 
 
 
 Duties
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Food preparation (salads, sandwiches, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Portion desserts, salads, and fruits for serving.
 </li>
 <li>
 Wash, trim and prepare vegetables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Set up serving lines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate kitchen appliances.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve food.
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate dish machine and wash pans and utensils.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in cleaning of kitchen and dining area.
 </li>
 <li>
 May serve as cashier.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in vending operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
 </li>
 <li>
 Delivery service of food to off-site BOCES facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stock and put away food supplies upon delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other tasks as requested by management.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of kitchen operation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Training will be provided.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be available for all 30 days of the summer program.
 </li>
 <li>
 Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Employment is contingent upon student enrollment and availability of programs.
