This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your firefighting expertise while making a meaningful impact on public safety and environmental preservation.Duties<ul><li>Respond swiftly to wildfire incidents, deploying firefighting techniques to contain and extinguish fires effectively</li><li>Conduct fire line construction, including clearing brush and creating firebreaks to prevent the spread of wildfires</li><li>Perform patrols in designated areas to monitor fire activity and identify potential hazards or new fire starts</li><li>Assist with prescribed burns under supervision to reduce fuel loads and mitigate future wildfire risks</li><li>Operate specialized equipment such as chainsaws, pumps, hoses, and vehicles safely and efficiently</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting, strenuous physical activity, and work in rugged outdoor conditions for extended periods</li><li>Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and during emergency wildfire events</li><li>Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and emergency responders</li><li>Profide all certificates and taskbooks for position.</li><li>2026 RT130 with packtest</li><li>Must pass Drug screen</li></ul>Join us as a Wildland Firefighter and be part of a passionate team committed to safeguarding our communities while advancing your career in wildfire management.
