Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Surgical Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and fast-paced dental team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, can think quickly on their feet, and adapts seamlessly in a high-energy clinical environment. You will play a critical role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and comfortable experience for our patients.You will assist with advanced treatments such as implant placements, extractions, and other complex procedures, where efficiency, anticipation, and rapid decision-making are essential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in chairside assisting, infection control, and clinical documentation while making a meaningful impact on patient care. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, proactive, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist the dentist during surgical and advanced dental procedures in a high-volume, fast-paced setting</li><li>Anticipate the needs of the dentist and respond quickly to ensure procedures run efficiently</li><li>Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment</li><li>Take diagnostic images, including X-rays and 3D scans, to support treatment planning</li><li>Monitor patient vital signs and comfort throughout procedures, making quick adjustments as needed</li><li>Provide clear and compassionate pre- and post-operative instructions to patients</li><li>Support administrative functions such as scheduling, maintaining accurate medical records, and coordinating with front office staff</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make quick, sound decisions</li><li>Strong multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail under pressure</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Dentrix)</li><li>Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality</li><li>Experience with dental imaging, including X-rays and 3D scanning technology</li><li>Skilled in chairside assisting, including four-handed dentistry techniques</li><li>Ability to assess and monitor patient vital signs during treatment</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with dental staff and specialists</li></ul>Join Our Team If you excel in a fast-moving environment and are confident in your ability to think quickly, stay organized, and deliver exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our team.Pay: From $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
