Overview: We are seeking an experienced and certified Montessori Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Montessori education, with a passion for nurturing and guiding children from infancy to 5 years of age. This role involves creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment, implementing Montessori principles, and fostering the overall development of each child.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Curriculum Development:</li><li>Design and implement age-appropriate Montessori lessons and activities that support the development of each child.</li><li>Create and maintain an engaging and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.</li><li>Child Development:</li><li>Observe and assess each child's progress, providing individualized support to meet their unique needs and interests.</li><li>Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.</li><li>Classroom Management:</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that aligns with Montessori principles.</li><li>Guide children in developing independence, self-discipline, and respect for themselves and others.</li><li>Parent Communication:</li><li>Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.</li><li>Conduct parent-teacher conferences and participate in school events and meetings.</li><li>Professional Development:</li><li>Stay current with the latest research and developments in Montessori education and early childhood development.</li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.</li><li>Montessori Certification (AMS, AMI, or MACTE accredited) for infants to 5 years of age.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a Montessori setting.</li><li>Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and methods.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>CPR and First Aid certification.</li><li>Bilingual in English and [Other Language] is a plus.</li><li>Experience with classroom management and parent communication tools.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Health and dental insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Opportunities for professional development</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
