Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and certified Montessori Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Montessori education, with a passion for nurturing and guiding children from infancy to 5 years of age. This role involves creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment, implementing Montessori principles, and fostering the overall development of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development:
  • Design and implement age-appropriate Montessori lessons and activities that support the development of each child.
  • Create and maintain an engaging and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Child Development:
  • Observe and assess each child's progress, providing individualized support to meet their unique needs and interests.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Classroom Management:
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that aligns with Montessori principles.
  • Guide children in developing independence, self-discipline, and respect for themselves and others.
  • Parent Communication:
  • Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences and participate in school events and meetings.
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in Montessori education and early childhood development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Montessori Certification (AMS, AMI, or MACTE accredited) for infants to 5 years of age.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a Montessori setting.
  • Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Bilingual in English and [Other Language] is a plus.
  • Experience with classroom management and parent communication tools.
