<div><p>The Election Training Specialist is responsible for supporting all staffing initiatives for Election Day and other election processes. This role ensures compliance with the National and Pennsylvania Voter Registration Acts (NVRA and PVRA) and maintains legally mandated records. The position also focuses heavily on training employees, temps, volunteers, and poll workers.</p></div>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h2></div>
<div><ul><li>Understand and manage all facets of SURE, the Commonwealth&rsquo;s statewide voter registration data system.</li><li>Review and process voter registration applications and updates accurately and timely, including handling duplicate registrations and updating voter addresses.</li><li>Answer public inquiries regarding voter records and assist with day-to-day operations, including data entry and public assistance.</li><li>Train new hires, employees, temps, volunteers on SURE and other systems, and lead classroom-style, hands-on training sessions for poll workers, canvassers, and tabulators.</li><li>Prepare and manage annual, semi-annual, and quarterly mailings, and support department goals through cooperation and information sharing.</li><li>Maintain a positive attitude and assist with various tasks, including working overtime during Election Season to staff Satellite Offices and support post-election reconciliation.</li><li>Understand roles and responsibilities of all election staff, maintain accurate records, and verify voter registration status of election staff and volunteers.</li><li>Respond to communications from volunteers and staff, initiate outbound communication to fill vacancies, and manage the Student Poll Worker Program.</li><li>Collaborate with the Election Personnel Coordinator to optimize training materials, process paysheets post-election, and guide recruitment strategy.</li><li>Deploy mass communications to volunteers/Poll Workers, update the website, and advertise volunteer opportunities.</li><li>Attend community events to recruit volunteers and educate residents.</li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned with the scope and range of job responsibilities.</li></ul></div>

<p></p><div><div>The purpose of the OSP VII position is to perform clerical and other specialized work within the Court Services department. This position will also work on special projects as assigned by the Deputy Court Administrator &ndash; Fiscal/Court Services.</div></div><p></p>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h2></div>
<p></p><div><ul><li>Receives and processes requests for interpreters for all court hearings and proceedings including Common Pleas Court hearings, custody conferences, divorce master proceedings, Protective from Abuse Hearings, juvenile court proceedings and Children &amp; Youth hearings.</li><li>
Corresponds effectively with Judges, their staff and attorneys to ensure an up-to-date status of any proceeding involving an interpreter so that the interpreter can be informed if a date, time or location is changed or if there is a change in case status.</li><li>
Communicates with the AOPC when there are not any approved interpreters available for a particular language requested to ascertain what other options exist.</li><li>
Maintains Language Access Data Collection ensuring the entry of encounters are correct and completed in a timely manner.</li><li>
Processes Interpreter invoices in a timely manner and in accordance with Interpreter Regulations and Fee Schedule.</li><li>
Arranges for the translation of Court documents when needed.</li><li>
Payroll (ADP): assists with the processing of payroll in a timely manner and in accordance with County policies and procedures.</li><li>
Building Services: submits work orders when building maintenance issues are reported to the Court Services department. Follows up to ensure work is complete and according to needs.</li><li>
Transcript requests: assists with the processing of transcript requests including the receipting of payment and notification to the court reporter.</li><li>
Orders for Payment: processes Orders for Payment for attorneys and expert witnesses utilizing the appropriate vendor number and budget code.</li><li>
Special projects: as assigned by the Deputy Court Administrator &ndash; Fiscal/Court Services works on special projects.</li><li>
Answers phones, directing inquiries to the appropriate party; opens incoming mail, directing it to the appropriate person; files departmental paperwork.</li></ul><ul><li>
Any other duties as may be assigned by the District Court Administrator.</li><li>
