Job Overview Multilingual law firm is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide essential clerical and administrative support to our legal team, with a primary focus on personal injury cases and pre-litigation matters. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a professional attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment. Proficiency in a secondary language is strongly preferred&mdash;particularly Vietnamese&mdash;but not required.Responsibilities <ul><li>Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and professional manner</li><li>Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors</li><li>Open, scan, and distribute incoming mail and faxes; prepare outgoing mail</li><li>Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate meetings</li><li>Organize and maintain physical and digital client files</li><li>Perform data entry and maintain client database systems</li><li>Assist with copying, scanning, filing, and document organization</li><li>Prepare cover letters, simple forms, and basic correspondence as needed</li><li>Handle office supplies and inventory tracking</li><li>Help drafting demand letters and packages</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>At least 1&ndash;2 years of clerical or administrative experience in an office setting (legal experience preferred but not required)</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and time management skills</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion</li><li>Clean criminal background</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Proficiency in a secondary language is strongly preferred, particularly Vietnamese, but it is not required.</li></ul>We are an equal opportunity employer and proudly welcome applicants from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life.
