OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Oracle Cloud Technical Lead to spearhead our cloud infrastructure initiatives and drive innovative solutions across our organization. As an Oracle Cloud Technical Lead, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing cloud services that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. Your expertise will empower teams to leverage the full potential of cloud computing, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the design and implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions, including IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and SaaS (Software as a Service) offerings.</li><li>Architect and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing services such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and other public cloud providers.</li><li>Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell to streamline deployment processes.</li><li>Oversee the integration of cloud services with existing IT systems, ensuring seamless interoperability with VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization platforms like Citrix and Rackspace.</li><li>Implement security best practices by managing identity and access management (IAM) solutions, system hardening techniques, and VPN configurations to safeguard cloud environments.</li><li>Collaborate with development teams on microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, web services, and application development using Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Go.</li><li>Monitor system performance and scalability of distributed systems while managing IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.</li><li>Drive DevOps automation initiatives to improve continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience leading cloud architecture projects with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Google Cloud Platform or similar public clouds.</li><li>Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices design principles, and RESTful API development.</li><li>Hands-on expertise in managing virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Citrix, Rackspace or similar platforms.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash shell scripting, PowerShell, Python or Ruby for automation tasks.</li><li>Deep knowledge of cloud security practices including IAM solutions, system hardening techniques, VPNs and network security protocols.</li><li>Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes for scalable application deployment.</li><li>Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle databases; knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus.</li><li>Strong background in computer science fundamentals related to operating systems (Linux/Windows), distributed systems architecture and IT infrastructure management.</li><li>Ability to work within Agile development environments while managing multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders at all levels.</li></ul>Join us as an Oracle Cloud Technical Lead to shape the future of our cloud strategy!
