Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Engineer to ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and safety of our hotel facilities. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our building systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Your expertise in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, HVAC, and facility management will drive operational excellence and enhance guest satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced hospitality setting, contributing to the overall guest experience and property safety.Duties<ul><li>Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and other building systems to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair issues related to hydraulics, low voltage electrical systems, high voltage equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).</li><li>Operate and maintain specialized tools such as precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and welding equipment&mdash;including &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding&mdash;ensuring all repairs meet safety standards.</li><li>Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose system faults accurately and implement effective solutions swiftly.</li><li>Manage maintenance requests through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime.</li><li>Conduct field service activities including working with scissor lifts and other elevated platforms to access hard-to-reach areas safely.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors or contractors on specialized repairs or installations involving HVAC/R systems or industrial equipment.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.</li><li>Support customer service efforts by addressing guest concerns related to facility operations promptly and professionally.</li><li>Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, including handling high voltage systems and working within manufacturing facility environments when necessary.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven industrial mechanic experience within manufacturing facilities or large-scale building operations.</li><li>Strong electrical experience with knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems; familiarity with industrial electrician practices is essential.</li><li>Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, welding (including &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding), and precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance using analysis skills on complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.</li><li>Experience working in field service roles within manufacturing or hospitality environments is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of CMMS software for managing maintenance workflows effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with military or industrial maintenance standards is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English; ability to collaborate across teams and with external vendors effectively is essential.
