Hotel Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Engineer to ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and safety of our hotel facilities. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our building systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and other building systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to hydraulics, low voltage electrical systems, high voltage equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Operate and maintain specialized tools such as precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and welding equipment—including <LOCATION> welding—ensuring all repairs meet safety standards.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose system faults accurately and implement effective solutions swiftly.
• Manage maintenance requests through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime.
• Conduct field service activities including working with scissor lifts and other elevated platforms to access hard-to-reach areas safely.
• Collaborate with vendors or contractors on specialized repairs or installations involving HVAC/R systems or industrial equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Support customer service efforts by addressing guest concerns related to facility operations promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, including handling high voltage systems and working within manufacturing facility environments when necessary.

Experience

• Proven industrial mechanic experience within manufacturing facilities or large-scale building operations.
• Strong electrical experience with knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems; familiarity with industrial electrician practices is essential.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, welding (including <LOCATION> welding), and precision measuring instruments.
• Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance using analysis skills on complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
• Experience working in field service roles within manufacturing or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of CMMS software for managing maintenance workflows effectively.
• Familiarity with military or industrial maintenance standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to collaborate across teams and with external vendors effectively is essential.
