Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tooling Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving tooling and fixtures used in our manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project scheduling, and process engineering to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. The Tooling Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations and maintain compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities&middot; Creates design sketches, layouts and plans&middot; Coordinates all activities in build, design and modification of new and existing die projects&middot; Produces specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components for production&middot; Uses CAD software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.&middot; Manage engineering CAD files in an organized and comprehensible format&middot; Assists manufacturing with improvement on existing work&middot; Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs&middot; Troubleshoots equipment, tooling and materials for samples and production.&middot; Assist with quoting process.&middot; Provides production support through documented process set-ups, monitoring, and adjustments.
