We are a collaborative, passionate team seeking a Senior Interior Designer to bring leadership, creativity, and expertise to our growing firm. Role Overview As a Senior Designer at Studio Sophiste, you will lead the design process on high-end residential projects. You will work closely with our design team to deliver interiors that embody our firm&rsquo;s signature style. This role requires both strong design talent and organizational rigor, as you will oversee projects from concept through installation. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead full-cycle design projects, from concept through final installation.</li><li>Develop and present design concepts, schemes, and client presentations.</li><li>Source and specify finishes, furniture, lighting, textiles, and accessories.</li><li>Produce and oversee CAD drawings, elevations, renderings, and specifications.</li><li>Manage client relationships with confidence and professionalism.</li><li>Oversee budgets, schedules, and procurement.</li><li>Supervise and mentor junior team members.</li><li>Collaborate with architects, builders, and trades to ensure flawless execution.</li><li>Conduct site visits and provide direction to vendors and contractors.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Interior Design or related field.</li><li>7+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design.</li><li>Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.</li><li>Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior designers.</li><li>Must be based in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC before starting work.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary: $70,000 &ndash; $90,000 per year</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Opportunity to work on nationally recognized, high-end residential projects in a collaborative, creative studio environment</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Full-time, in-person</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $73,825.09 - $88,907.64 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
