Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of toddlers while ensuring their safety and well-being. You will also play a key role in guiding and mentoring assistant teachers or floaters within the classroom.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.</li><li>Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for toddlers.</li><li>Manage classroom activities, ensuring effective behavior management strategies are in place.</li><li>Provide individualized attention to children, including those with special needs or disabilities.</li><li>Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication.</li><li>Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.</li><li>Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.</li><li>Supervise assistant teachers or floaters, providing guidance and support as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.</li><li>Experience in toddler care, infant care, or similar caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting.</li><li>Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.</li><li>First aid certification is preferred; additional training in special education is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young children.
