Role SummaryThe Export Documentation Trainee will assist the Export Operations team in managing pre-shipment documentation, coordinating with suppliers and CHA, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring timely submission to banks and regulatory authorities. This role aims to develop a strong foundation in export documentation processes and international trade compliance.Key Responsibilities1. Pre-Shipment BRS &amp; Documentation Tracking<ul><li>Assist in maintaining and updating BRS sheet for all pre-shipment tasks</li><li>Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates against each shipment</li><li>Support in tracking shipment documentation status</li></ul>2. Supplier Coordination &amp; Dispatch Documents<ul><li>Collect dispatch-related documents (e.g., test reports, stuffing photos) from suppliers</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers for container arrangements</li><li>Ensure timely submission of documents to CHA</li></ul>3. CHA Coordination &amp; B/L Handling<ul><li>Verify Shipping Bills before CHA approval</li><li>Assist in preparing and reviewing B/L draft copies</li><li>Follow up for B/L receipt post vessel sailing</li><li>Maintain delay records for pending B/Ls</li><li>Support in checking LC / Shipping Instructions received from customers</li></ul>4. Customer Communication &amp; Bank Submission<ul><li>Assist in preparation of export documents for LC and CAD shipments</li><li>Support in reviewing documents prior to bank submission</li><li>Ensure documents are submitted to bank within defined timelines</li></ul>5. Export File Management &amp; Audit Compliance<ul><li>Maintain export shipment files and documentation records</li><li>Support monthly audit documentation and file verification</li><li>Ensure all documents are complete and properly filed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management</li><li>Basic knowledge of Export Documentation (preferred)</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Good communication and coordination skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation tracking</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks</li><li>Willingness to learn export procedures and compliance</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Internship Contract length: 3 monthsPay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
