Overview As a Moving Sales Consultant, you&rsquo;ll be the first and most important touchpoint for customers planning their move. You&rsquo;ll guide prospects through the decision-making process, build trust quickly, ask the right discovery questions, generate accurate estimates, and close jobs efficiently.This role also includes Channel Development&mdash;strengthening relationships with Realtors, property managers, senior living communities, and other strategic partners and affiliates who can drive consistent referrals.Once a job is booked, you&rsquo;ll hand it off cleanly to our Operations team so you can stay focused on generating new opportunities and delivering a great customer experience from the first interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesInbound Sales<ul><li>Answer all inbound leads promptly via phone, web, and text with professionalism and energy</li><li>Provide fast, accurate estimates&mdash;ideally on the first call</li><li>Qualify customers using proven discovery questions and frameworks</li><li>Close moves efficiently while ensuring service quality and customer confidence</li></ul>Outbound Sales &amp; Channel Development<ul><li>Conduct outbound calls, follow-ups, and relationship outreach</li><li>Build and nurture partnerships with Realtors, apartment communities, business affiliates, and other referral sources</li><li>Attend onsite visits, networking events, and partner meetings as needed</li><li>Conduct onsite Sales Assessments (when required) to create precise estimates</li></ul>Process &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Schedule moves in coordination with the Austin-based Operations team</li><li>Use SmartMoving CRM to manage leads, document interactions, and track performance</li><li>Follow established scripts, pricing guidelines, and quoting frameworks</li><li>Maintain consistent pricing, including special items and complex move requirements</li></ul>Performance<ul><li>Meet or exceed daily activity expectations and monthly sales targets</li><li>Maintain high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, and customer follow-through</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Moving industry, real estate, logistics, or home services experience is a plus</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of phone-based sales, customer service, or inside sales required</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly</li><li>Coachable, team-oriented, and motivated by performance indicators</li><li>Comfortable using CRMs, quoting systems, and Google Workspace</li><li>Energetic, tech-savvy, and eager to grow</li><li>High attention to detail and task execution</li><li>On-site estimating experience preferred</li></ul>Why Join Us?Become an essential part of a growing, high-performing moving company where your ability to communicate, solve problems, and close deals directly impacts customer experience and company success.
