Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sound Technician to join our creative production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio equipment to ensure high-quality sound for a variety of productions, including live events, video shoots, and post-production projects. Your expertise will help bring our content to life with crystal-clear audio that enhances storytelling and audience engagement. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and passion for sound will shine.Responsibilities<ul><li>Set up and calibrate audio equipment such as microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and speakers for filming, live events, and recording sessions</li><li>Operate soundboards during productions to capture optimal audio quality while adjusting levels in real-time</li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions during filming or live performances</li><li>Collaborate with videographers and content creators to ensure seamless integration of sound with visual elements</li><li>Manage post-production audio editing using industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid to enhance sound quality and synchronize audio with video footage</li><li>Maintain all audio equipment through regular inspections, cleaning, and repairs to ensure reliability and performance</li><li>Assist in planning sound requirements for upcoming projects by assessing venue acoustics and technical needs</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience working as a Sound Technician or in a similar audio production role</li><li>Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid</li><li>Strong knowledge of signal processing techniques to optimize sound clarity and quality</li><li>Experience with videography, filming, and content creation to understand the full scope of video production workflows</li><li>Familiarity with post-production processes including sound editing and mixing</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively under pressure</li><li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments</li></ul>Join us as a Sound Technician and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating engaging visual content through exceptional sound quality.
