You will be an essential part of a collaborative crew, assisting with site preparation, concrete work, masonry, and hardscape installations. Your expertise will help bring innovative outdoor spaces and structural improvements to life, ensuring safety, precision, and durability at every step.Duties<ul><li>Assist with excavation activities using heavy equipment and hand tools to prepare sites for construction or landscaping projects.</li><li>Mix, pour, and finish concrete to exact specifications, ensuring smooth surfaces and structural integrity.</li><li>Install rebar and metal reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics for concrete structures.</li><li>Operate power tools such as concrete mixers, saws, drills, and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise masonry, framing, or hardscape layouts.</li><li>Perform masonry tasks including stucco application, tile laying, plastering, and metal stud framing for various structures.</li><li>Support carpentry work such as trim carpentry, framing, roofing support, and restoration projects.</li><li>Handle heavy lifting of materials like concrete blocks, pavers, stonework, or lumber to maintain project momentum.</li><li>Follow safety protocols on-site; conduct inspections of tools and equipment; ensure compliance with OSHA standards.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation.</li><li>Proven experience in construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics accurately.</li><li>Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and masonry work.</li><li>Proficient with hand tools (hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) used in construction environments.</li><li>Knowledge of hardscape installation including pavers, retaining walls, patios, and walkways.</li><li>Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or loaders safely on construction sites.</li><li>Familiarity with concrete pumping systems and concrete mixer operation for large-scale projects.</li><li>Experience in renovation projects involving plastering, stucco application, flooring installation or tile laying.</li><li>Capable of reading blueprints and schematics; understanding technical drawings for precise execution.</li><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary.
