Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including moving materials and tools
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to support various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, and finishing
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project execution
• Perform tasks related to concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to ensure structural integrity
• Support installation of doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, tile, and other fixtures with precision and care
• Conduct general site inspections for safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Use heavy equipment and machinery under supervision for excavation or material handling as needed
• Assist with demolition, restoration, or remodeling activities to prepare sites for new construction or renovation projects

Skills

• Experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management principles
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation
• Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection procedures, and quality control standards
• Familiarity with specific trades such as plumbing, electrical work, framing carpentry, stucco application, roofing, or welding is a plus
• Ability to perform concrete finishing, tile laying, masonry work, plastering and caulking with attention to detail
• Strong understanding of safety practices on construction sites and ability to follow safety guidelines diligently
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments

Pay: $16.50 - $21.65 per hour
