Mutual of Omaha is seeking a Workforce / People Analytics Consultant to translate complex workforce questions into clear, actionable insights that drive people strategy and business performance across Mutual of Omaha.</p>
<p>
This role plays a critical part in building and maturing our people analytics capabilities &mdash; moving beyond operational reporting to serve as a true analytics consultant to HR leaders and business partners. You&rsquo;ll work closely with stakeholders to shape data-driven decisions across the full employee lifecycle, from attraction through retention.</p>

<ul><li>Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
<ul><li>$55,000 - $62,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.</li>

WHAT YOU'LL DO:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Collaborate with HR leaders and business partners to understand key priorities, gather requirements, and define scalable reporting and analytics solutions that support decision-making across the organization.</li>
<li>Convert complex or ambiguous business questions into measurable metrics, structured reporting requirements, and meaningful insights that help leaders make informed decisions.</li>
<li>Conduct analysis on workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and key drivers impacting attraction, retention, engagement, and overall workforce effectiveness.</li>
<li>Build, enhance, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide clear, actionable insights, ensuring solutions are user-friendly, accurate, and aligned to business needs.</li>
<li>Establish strong working relationships across HR and the business, influencing adoption of reporting tools and promoting a data-driven culture.</li>
<li>Assess and rationalize existing reports, eliminate redundancies, and support data governance practices to ensure consistent definitions, quality, and appropriate use of HR data.</li>
<li>Evaluate existing reporting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and standardize approaches through automation and better design.</li>
<li>Explore and apply modern technologies, including AI and advanced analytics tools, to improve reporting efficiency, enhance insights, and evolve analytics capabilities.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL BRING:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions</li>
<li>Experience in HR functional areas to deeply understand processes and data</li>
<li>Experience with HR data and workforce metrics</li>
<li>Experience building reports in Workday, Visier, Tableau, or Power BI, or similar analytics/visualization platforms</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management</li>
<li>Ability to build internal and external relationships at multiple levels</li>
<li>Displays a proactive approach to addressing change, adaptability to various assignments, and a willingness to learn and apply new skills and technologies</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>VALUABLE EXPERIENCE:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Degree or applied background in HR, Business, Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or I/O Psychology</li>
<li>Experience in HR analytics or HR technology</li>
<li>Experience with Workday, Visier, Tableau, or Power BI. Visier (preferred); Workday or comparable cloud HCM platform experience a plus</li>
<li>Knowledge of Agile or SDLC</li>
<li>Strong quantitative skills</li>
</ul>

<li>Solid business analysis skills with 5 + years of proven experience gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and supporting system or process changes.</li>
<li><div>Strong functional analysis skills with the ability and interest to partner closely with data‑focused teammates to translate business needs into effective solutions.</div>
</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to speak up, influence decisions, and build relationships across teams.</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment&mdash;skilled at prioritizing, problem-solving, and driving results.</li>
<li>Experience with Agile, SDLC, or similar methodologies.</li>
<li>Manual testing experience is a plus.</li>
