Whether working on excavators, cranes, farm machinery, or heavy-duty trucks, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in supporting our field operations and customer service commitments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery using OEM manuals and schematics.</li><li>Conduct mechanical repairs such as engine overhauls, transmission servicing, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, hydraulics troubleshooting, and alignment procedures.</li><li>Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to ensure equipment longevity.</li><li>Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, and forklift trucks safely during maintenance or repair tasks.</li><li>Troubleshoot electrical systems including automotive diagnostics and electrical wiring to identify issues quickly and accurately.</li><li>Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed; ensure compliance with safety standards including air brake systems and HVAC units.</li><li>Assist with tire service, heavy lifting tasks, assembly of equipment parts, and general vehicle maintenance to support ongoing operational needs.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven mechanic experience with dealership or industrial equipment repair; familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) OEM parts preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of schematics for electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, HVAC systems, and suspension components.</li><li>Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently.</li><li>Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers safely and effectively.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, brake systems (including air brakes), alignment procedures, HVAC systems, and tire service.</li><li>Experience working with farm machinery or industrial equipment is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.</li><li>Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
