The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience working with circuit board assemblies, strong soldering skills, and familiarity with IPC standards such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.The right candidate takes pride in precision work, understands high-reliability electronics, and is comfortable working from engineering documentation and assembly procedures.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount components on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)</li><li>Conduct rework, repair, and modification of circuit board assemblies as required</li><li>Inspect solder joints and assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards</li><li>Interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions</li><li>Handle electronic components using proper ESD procedures</li><li>Perform component installation, removal, and replacement on PCB assemblies</li><li>Support functional testing and troubleshooting of assembled boards</li><li>Document work performed and maintain accurate production records</li><li>Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience assembling or soldering printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)</li><li>Experience with hand soldering of both through-hole and surface mount components</li><li>Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards</li><li>Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and technical work instructions</li><li>Experience working with ESD-sensitive electronics</li><li>Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity</li><li>Ability to work independently and follow precise manufacturing procedures</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Current IPC certification (IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001)</li><li>Experience with high-reliability electronics (aerospace, defense, or space hardware)</li><li>Experience performing PCB rework and repair</li><li>Familiarity with microscope soldering and inspection</li><li>Technical training, vocational certification, or electronics coursework</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods</li><li>Excellent fine motor skills for precision soldering</li><li>Ability to handle small electronic components</li><li>Occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds</li></ul>Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
