Our core values include trustworthiness, uniqueness, and customer satisfaction.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Office Engineer specializing in wood flooring and furniture, located in Dokki, Giza.Job SummaryResponsible for preparing technical drawings, shop drawings, material take-offs, and coordinating between design, production, and site teams for wood flooring and furniture projects. Ensures accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project specifications.Key Responsibilities1. Technical Drawings &amp; Shop Drawings<ul><li>Prepare detailed shop drawings for:</li><li>Wood flooring layouts (parquet, HDF, engineered wood, etc.)</li><li>Custom furniture (kitchens, wardrobes, doors, cabinetry)</li><li>Review and revise drawings based on site conditions and client feedback</li><li>Coordinate with design team to convert concepts into execution drawings</li></ul>2. Quantity Surveying &amp; BOQs<ul><li>Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ)</li><li>Calculate material requirements (wood, veneers, accessories, hardware)</li><li>Optimize cutting lists to reduce waste</li></ul>3. Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with:</li><li>Production/workshop team</li><li>Site engineers and installation teams</li><li>Procurement department</li><li>Ensure drawings match site conditions and client requirements</li></ul>4. Material &amp; Technical Specifications<ul><li>Select suitable materials (solid wood, MDF, HDF, plywood, finishes)</li><li>Ensure compliance with project specs and quality standards</li><li>Review technical submittals</li></ul>5. Project Support<ul><li>Track project progress and deadlines</li><li>Assist in resolving technical issues on-site</li><li>Provide technical solutions for design or installation challenges</li></ul>6. Documentation<ul><li>Maintain drawing logs and revisions</li><li>Prepare as-built drawings after project completion</li><li>Archive project documentation</li></ul>RequirementsEducation<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in:</li><li>Civil Engineering</li><li>Architecture</li><li>Interior Design / Wood Technology (preferred)</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>2&ndash;5+ years in:</li><li>Furniture manufacturing OR</li><li>Wood flooring / interior finishing</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of:</li><li>Wood materials &amp; finishing systems</li><li>Furniture detailing and joinery</li><li>Software:</li><li>AutoCAD (essential)</li><li>SketchUp / Revit (plus)</li><li>Excel (for BOQs)</li><li>Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Problem-solving mindset</li><li>Good communication with site &amp; factory teams</li><li>Time management</li></ul>Preferred Background <ul><li>Experience in:</li><li>Custom furniture factories</li><li>Interior fit-out companies</li><li>Flooring contractors</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From E&pound;15,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What is your current notice period?</li><li>What is your current salary?</li><li>What is your expected salary?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
