Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Nail Salon Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, managing appointments, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the salon. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a professional demeanor to create a welcoming environment for clients. Bilingual skills are a plus to assist a diverse clientele.Duties<ul><li>Greet clients warmly and check them in for their appointments</li><li>Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using POS systems</li><li>Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette</li><li>Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client experience</li><li>Process transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and retail space</li><li>Assist with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to promote salon offerings</li><li>Supervise front desk operations during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow</li><li>Support retail sales by engaging customers and providing product recommendations</li><li>Ensure all client records are updated accurately and confidentially</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math calculations</li><li>Experience in supervising or leading a team is preferred</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including bilingual abilities</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to upsell products and services effectively</li><li>Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions</li><li>Previous retail sales experience, especially in a grocery or beauty store environment, is beneficial</li><li>Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism</li></ul>This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding salon experiences.
