We are seeking a friendly and organized Nail Salon Receptionist to join our team. Duties

• Greet clients warmly and check them in for their appointments
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using POS systems
• Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette
• Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client experience
• Process transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and retail space
• Assist with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to promote salon offerings
• Supervise front desk operations during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow
• Support retail sales by engaging customers and providing product recommendations
• Ensure all client records are updated accurately and confidentially

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math calculations
• Experience in supervising or leading a team is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including bilingual abilities
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Ability to upsell products and services effectively
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
• Previous retail sales experience, especially in a grocery or beauty store environment, is beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
