Architectural Designer &ndash; Authority Approvals &amp; Technical Drawings Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Architectural Designer with a minimum of 1 year of GCC experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing detailed architectural, interior, landscape, and MEP coordination drawings, together with managing authority submissions and approvals across Dubai.The successful candidate should possess a strong understanding of local regulations and approval procedures, particularly for Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), Trakhees, Emaar, Nakheel, and DAMAC, and be capable of producing high-quality 2D technical drawings and 3D design models.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare architectural design, authority submission, and shop drawings in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulations.</li><li>Prepare, coordinate, and submit drawings for approvals from:</li><li>Dubai Municipality (DM)</li><li>Dubai Development Authority (DDA)</li><li>Trakhees</li><li>Nakheel</li><li>Emaar</li><li>DAMAC</li><li>Other relevant authorities and master developers</li><li>Prepare and coordinate NOC (No Objection Certificate) documentation and drawings, including:</li><li>Architectural drawings</li><li>MEP drawings</li><li>Basic structural drawings</li><li>Develop municipality submission packages ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and authority standards.</li><li>Produce detailed 2D drawings for:</li><li>Interior fit-out projects</li><li>Landscape works</li><li>Villa and apartment renovations</li><li>Create accurate 3D models and visualizations to support design development and client presentations.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and site teams throughout the design and approval process.</li><li>Review authority comments, revise drawings, and manage resubmissions until final approval is obtained.</li><li>Ensure all drawings comply with local building regulations, authority requirements, and project specifications.</li><li>Maintain organized records of submissions, revisions, approvals, and project documentation.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 1 year of GCC experience in architectural design and authority submissions.</li><li>Sound knowledge of Dubai authority regulations and approval procedures.</li><li>Experience with villa renovations, apartment fit-outs, and interior projects is preferred.</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).</li><li>Experience with SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar 3D software.</li><li>Ability to prepare detailed 2D architectural, interior, and landscape drawings.</li><li>Understanding of MEP coordination and basic structural drawing requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with authority submission portals and approval workflows.</li><li>Basic rendering and presentation skills are an advantage.</li></ul>Core Competencies<ul><li>Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.</li><li>Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority standards.</li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong coordination and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset and ability to respond efficiently to authority comments.</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Previous experience with a consultancy or fit-out/contracting company in the UAE.</li><li>Hands-on experience obtaining approvals from DM, DDA, Trakhees, Nakheel, Emaar, DAMAC, and other Dubai authorities.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary (based on experience)</li><li>Employment Visa</li><li>Medical Insurance</li><li>Annual Leave and Air Ticket as per UAE Labour Law</li><li>Career growth opportunities</li><li>Professional and collaborative working environment</li></ul>Work Location: Dubai, UAE (On-site)Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
