Your responsibilities:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
</div><div><b>
Setup &amp; Configuration:</b> Install and integrate network software and hardware (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and VPNs).</div><div><b>
Performance Tuning:</b> Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.</div><div><b>
Scalability:</b> Design and implement network growth plans to accommodate new development teams or larger office spaces.</div><div><b>
Security Enforcement:</b> Set up and maintain security measures (Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Endpoint Security, and Access Control Lists).</div><div><b>
VPN Management:</b> Maintain secure remote access (VPN) for developers working from home or from client sites.</div><div><b>
Server Maintenance:</b> Support DevOps teams in configuring internal staging servers and local repositories (GitLab/GitHub enterprise local instances).</div><div><b>
Bandwidth Management:</b> Prioritize traffic to ensure that large code pushes/pulls and video conferencing do not hinder each other.</div><div><b>
Technical Support:</b> Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related issues reported by employees.</div><div><b>
Backups &amp; Recovery:</b> Maintain a disaster recovery plan for network configurations and critical data.</div><div><b>
Updates:</b> Perform routine patches and firmware updates outside of core development hours to minimize downtime.</div><div></div><div><br>

Skill sets/Experience we require:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
</div><div><b>
Experience:</b> 1+ years of experience in network administration (ideally in an IT/Software service environment).</div><div><b>
Technical Certifications:</b> CCNA/CCNP (Cisco), MCSA/MCSE (Microsoft), or CompTIA Network+.</div><div><b>
Hardware Knowledge:</b> Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or Ubiquiti hardware.</div><div><b>
Cloud Knowledge:</b> Basic understanding of VPCs, Subnets, and Security Groups in AWS or Azure.</div><div><b>
Soft Skills:</b> Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.</div></div><div></div>
