NCS is SOC 1 TYPE II and SOC 2 TYPE II audited and compliant.Position Summary: This California Associate Attorney will work with the legal support team on various company matters concerning litigation and insurance.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Insurance / Litigation (75%)&middot; Work together with the Legal Staff on the management of civil litigation&middot; Management and processing of property, general liability and subrogation insurance claims&middot; Assist property management team in gathering necessary data and facts to support claims&middot; Review and analyze premises liability incidents and potential insurance claims&middot; Work with insurance adjusters and claims administrators&middot; Assist in the oversight of outside counsel, review&middot; Prepare responses to discovery and other pleadingsContracts / Leases (15%)&middot; Review and analyze Company contracts with third party service providers&middot; Work with outside counsel to identify changes in state and local laws and policies; revise lease provisions as necessary to incorporate changes into contracts and leases as necessary.
