Responsibilities<ul><li>Identifying and sourcing potential suppliers and vendors for aerospace manufacturing needs</li><li>Negotiating agreements with suppliers to ensure best quality, cost and delivery timelines of goods and services</li><li>Inspecting and verifying the quality and specifications of procured items to ensure compliance with aerospace standards</li><li>Process purchase orders and maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, certificates, and other important data</li><li>Developing and maintaining professional relationships with suppliers and vendors</li><li>Working closely with other departments, such as Maintenance, Accounting and quality assurance, to ascertain procurement needs and specifications</li><li>Managing inventory, delivery and logistics of procured items</li><li>Ensuring compliance with the company&rsquo;s procurement policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations</li><li>Monitor and report to management and technicians on status of goods and services</li><li>Maintaining calibrated tool reports and certificates</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2-5 years of proven experience as a procurement specialist or in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace industry.</li><li>Familiarity with inventory management</li><li>Able to handle a high volume of requests, emails, and calls on a daily basis.</li><li>Able to prioritize based on maintenance scheduling needs</li><li>Excellent organization and communication skills with managers and technicians</li><li>Maintaining a daily status sheet of all open orders</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
