Strategy &amp; P&amp;L Ownership:<ul><li>Drive Revenue &amp; Budget: Own the category's financial performance, including budget development, revenue targets, and profitability (P&amp;L).</li><li>Forecasting &amp; Inventory: Make sophisticated forecasts for product demand to ensure high availability and inventory sustainability while minimizing waste.</li><li>Long-Term Planning: Devise and implement long-term development strategies to capture market share and category growth.</li></ul>B. Procurement &amp; Vendor Management:<ul><li>Negotiation: Lead complex margin discussions and negotiations with local and international vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and quality of service.</li><li>Relationship Building: Foster trust and long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and cutting-edge product pipeline.</li></ul>C. Market Insights &amp; Merchandising:<ul><li>Trend Analysis: Analyze industry data and consumer insights to identify emerging trends in international foods and adapt the category mix quickly.</li><li>Product Lifecycle: Develop and execute product category positioning strategies to maximize visibility and consumer purchase intent.</li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, and Buying teams on competitive pricing, promotional activities, and to develop clear exit strategies for unsuccessful products.</li></ul>III. Qualifications &amp; Requirements (The Non-Negotiables)<ul><li>Education: Full-Time MBA from a premier institute is mandatory.</li><li>Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in Category Management, Buying, or Strategic Sourcing, preferably within a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment.</li><li>Domain Knowledge: Strong, applied knowledge of Category Management frameworks, marketing principles, and sales strategies.</li><li>Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to analyze complex data (sales, market, consumer insights) and translate it into clear, actionable business strategies and decisions.</li><li>Influence &amp; Leadership: Strong people management, persuasion, and communication skills to effectively manage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.</li><li>Technical: Proficient in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel for data modeling and analysis.</li></ul>IV.
