NIGHT DISPATCH-This position is 5pm-5am with rotating nightsOverall Objective: To maintain operational consistency after normal working hours. Follow through with what the Load Planners and Fleet Managers have set up during normal working hours.Working relationship : Reports to Operations Manager.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Handle all incoming calls from drivers and customers.</li><li>Monitor electronic messages for the entire fleet and respond to drivers&rsquo; requests and inquiries accordingly.</li><li>Track loads every 2 hours to insure on time delivery.</li><li>Handle O.S.&amp;D issues as they arise.</li><li>Handle all accidents as they arise.</li><li>Complete all computer work for Loaded Calls, Empty Calls, Relays, Etc.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Effective interpersonal skills and behaviors conducive to a service/team-oriented environment (e.g., diplomacy, tact, flexibility, positive approach).</li><li>Ability to plan and meet deadlines, prioritize, and handle several projects simultaneously.</li><li>Ability to be self-directing and to work with a minimum of supervision.</li><li>Demonstrated effective problem solving capability with creativity in providing solutions to new issues to exploring alternatives.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and employ a high level of diplomacy and tact both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Broad-based understanding of and proficiency in the use of PC's and other skills, which include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.</li><li>Acts somewhat independently using discretion in the disposition of routine and non-routine matters.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>AS400 experience</li><li>EOBRs experience</li><li>Understanding of Hours Of Service</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.81 - $24.03 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Denver, CO 80221 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
