Staff Nurse (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing)

Key Responsibilities:1. Administrative Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan, organize, and direct all nursing services of the hospital.</li><li>Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.</li><li>Ensure compliance with NABH / JCI / statutory regulations.</li><li>Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing.</li><li>Participate in hospital management meetings.</li><li>Maintain nursing records and documentation systems.</li><li>Assist in budget preparation for nursing department.</li></ul>2. Clinical Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.</li><li>Monitor nursing practices and clinical procedures.</li><li>Implement infection control policies.</li><li>Supervise medication administration and patient monitoring.</li><li>Address patient complaints related to nursing care.</li><li>Ensure proper handover procedures and clinical audits.</li></ul>3. Staff Management &amp; Supervision<ul><li>Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff.</li><li>Conduct performance appraisals.</li><li>Organize continuing nursing education (CNE) programs.</li><li>Ensure discipline and adherence to hospital policies.</li><li>Mentor and guide Deputy Nursing Superintendent, Ward In-Charges, and Staff Nurses.</li></ul>4. Quality &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Implement quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure biomedical waste management compliance.</li><li>Monitor incident reports and corrective actions.</li><li>Participate in accreditation processes (NABH/NABL).</li></ul>5. Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Coordinate with doctors, paramedical staff, and administration.</li><li>Participate in medical board meetings.</li><li>Maintain effective communication within the nursing team.</li><li>Liaise with external agencies when required.</li></ul>6. Inventory &amp; Resource Management<ul><li>Oversee procurement and maintenance of nursing supplies.</li><li>Ensure proper use of equipment.</li><li>Monitor stock levels and prevent wastage.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc.
