Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct all nursing services of the hospital.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with NABH / JCI / statutory regulations.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing.
- Participate in hospital management meetings.
- Maintain nursing records and documentation systems.
- Assist in budget preparation for nursing department.
2. Clinical Responsibilities
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
- Monitor nursing practices and clinical procedures.
- Implement infection control policies.
- Supervise medication administration and patient monitoring.
- Address patient complaints related to nursing care.
- Ensure proper handover procedures and clinical audits.
3. Staff Management & Supervision
- Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff.
- Conduct performance appraisals.
- Organize continuing nursing education (CNE) programs.
- Ensure discipline and adherence to hospital policies.
- Mentor and guide Deputy Nursing Superintendent, Ward In-Charges, and Staff Nurses.
4. Quality & Compliance
- Implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure biomedical waste management compliance.
- Monitor incident reports and corrective actions.
- Participate in accreditation processes (NABH/NABL).
5. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with doctors, paramedical staff, and administration.
- Participate in medical board meetings.
- Maintain effective communication within the nursing team.
- Liaise with external agencies when required.
6. Inventory & Resource Management
- Oversee procurement and maintenance of nursing supplies.
- Ensure proper use of equipment.
- Monitor stock levels and prevent wastage.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)
- Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife (RN & RM)
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
Experience:
- Minimum 11–15 years of clinical experience.
- At least 5–7 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
