Your Role

The triage nurse (registered nurse) at Near North Health is a hybrid role. The Triage Nurse provides clinically expert triage service within NNH, monitoring and responding to triage calls from the call center or walk-ins at any NNH health center.

Required Education or Licensure/Certification: Graduate of accredited RN or LPN program. Current Registered Nurse License issued by State of Illinois. CPR or BLS certification 


Skills:
<ul><li>At least 3 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting</li><li>
Experience in telehealth/virtual visits</li><li>
Must demonstrate competency for triaging patients of all ages and for the entirety of NNH&rsquo;s scope of outpatient clinical care.</li><li>
Proficiency with electronic health records</li><li>
Must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to function as part of a highly effective team that consistently puts &ldquo;Patients First.&rdquo;</li></ul>

Compensation

Compensation is determined based on each candidate&rsquo;s experience, skills, and education, within the established range for the role. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements will typically start at the entry level of the range, with additional qualifications reflected in the final compensation package.

Near North Health is searching for someone who is passionate about getting out into the community to improve health outcomes. The Community Outreach Manager will develop innovative engagement strategies and hit the streets to make meaningful connections with residents, community leaders and organizational partners, promoting Near North Health as the community health center of choice. This is a highly visible, field-based role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
