Job DescriptionThe Human Resources Associate to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Organize and maintain personnel records</li><li>Update internal databases (attendance, rosters, termination, etc.)</li><li>Prepare HR documents (offer letters, written warnings, performance, etc.)</li><li>Create regular reports on HR metrics</li><li>Answer employees queries about HR-related issues</li><li>Review and process timesheets</li><li>Handle new hire paperwork, uniforms, timeclocks, etc.</li><li>Conducting new employee orientations</li><li>Data Entry</li><li>Other tasks as assigned</li></ul>Required Skills/Abilities<ul><li>Minimum of 2yrs experience working in human resources</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects</li><li>Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of database software, email systems, and Microsoft office software.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Friendly and professional demeanor.</li><li>Empathy and an approachable demeanor.</li><li>Detail oriented, attentiveness and honesty.</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>2-year degree preferred with background in business or HR or an equivalent time worked in the HR field</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.</li></ul>Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
