Job Description
The Human Resources Associate to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Update internal databases (attendance, rosters, termination, etc.)
- Prepare HR documents (offer letters, written warnings, performance, etc.)
- Create regular reports on HR metrics
- Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
- Review and process timesheets
- Handle new hire paperwork, uniforms, timeclocks, etc.
- Conducting new employee orientations
- Data Entry
- Other tasks as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- Minimum of 2yrs experience working in human resources
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
- Knowledge of database software, email systems, and Microsoft office software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Empathy and an approachable demeanor.
- Detail oriented, attentiveness and honesty.
Education and Experience
- 2-year degree preferred with background in business or HR or an equivalent time worked in the HR field
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
