Mortgage Loan ProcessorOur Loan Processors work closely with our Loan Officers to ensure a timely and accurate experience for our clients. Mortgage Loan Processor (San Antonio, TX)

Accounts Payable SpecialistOverview Neighborhood Loans is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate is an ethical, hands-on leader with strong accounts payable expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to oversee day-to-day AP operations. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys managing workflows, mentoring team members, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and contributing to the financial integrity of a growing residential mortgage lender with strong career growth potential.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments</li><li>Review, code, and approve invoices in accordance with company policies and GAAP</li><li>Manage vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and respond to internal and external inquiries</li><li>Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close activities</li><li>Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and internal controls are maintained across AP processes</li><li>Monitor AP aging, payment terms, and cash disbursements to support effective cash flow management</li><li>Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements related to accounts payable</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability</li><li>Train, mentor, and provide day-to-day guidance to AP team members</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of accounts payable experience required (mortgage experience a plus)</li><li>High proficiency with Excel required</li><li>Attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>Job Type / Location:<ul><li>Full-time</li><li>Hybrid Role: 2-3 Days per week in Downers Grove, IL Office</li></ul>Compensation: Starting at $55,000 - $60,000 per year (commensurate with experience)Benefits<ul><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>401(k)</li></ul>About UsAt Neighborhood Loans, we are passionate mortgage lending professionals with one goal in mind: making our clients our priority.
