Job Summary We are seeking a someone who is self-motivated and organized to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a basic mechanical knowledge and experience in various types of equipment and facilities repair. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and farm/facility issues efficiently.Duties<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on both on-road and off-road vehicles.</li><li>Maintain and repair facilities lighting, plumbing and buildings.</li><li>Maintain and repair irrigation systems and pumps.</li><li>Perform refrigeration preventive maintenance.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractors and forklifts.</li><li>Operate farm equipment.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing heavy lifting tasks.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven basic mechanic experience with gasoline and diesel engines.</li><li>Basic hydraulic, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills.</li><li>Must be able to be trained to operate forklifts and farm equipment.</li><li>Clean drivers license required. Class B CDL preferred.</li><li>Experience with HVAC systems is desirable.</li><li>Basic welding ability is desirable.</li><li>Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.</li><li>Must perform timely preventive maintenance inspections and keep records.</li><li>Must be self-motivated and organized.</li><li>Veterans encouraged to apply.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Tools provided</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
